Antonio Rodriguez served as the CEO of KSSA-AM Spanish Language Music covering Dallas and Ft. Worth Metroplex. His father brought the first spanish language media to the area, and for the longest time, his first station KESS was the only source of spanish news, information and media entertainment in the metroplex. This showcases a generational passion for broadcasting in Dallas and Ft. Worth Metroplex as well as redefining the status quo in local news and entertainment.

In these years, Mr. Rodriguez helped nurture the station’s award-winning community programming and helped to bring Spanish language music to these diverse and bustling Texas cities.

KRVA Latin 106.9 FM

Mr. Rodriguez also served as the CEO of the first international contemporary Spanish music station, KRVA Latin 106.9 FM. With his leadership, alongside the yearly  Latin Jazz and Music Festivals. KRVA was able to successfully bring Salsa Into the mainstream. During Rodriguez’s tenure at the station, KRVA was also able to acquire an interview with the legendary Celia Cruz only furthering their impact in the Salsa and Spanish music world.

KTCY FAB 105 FM

n what came as a total shock to many of his colleagues, Mr. Rodriguez introduced his new frequency to Dallas and Ft. Worth Metroplex in 1997. Choosing to solely broadcast commercial-free all-Beatles Music 24/7, 104.9 KTCY “Fab 105” quickly gathered hordes of devotees. It soon became legendary in the annals of Dallas broadcasting leading to comprehensive coverage including this TV Interview , The Dallas Morning News Article, and Dallas Observer Article.

Putting the FIRST Spanish language Radio Station LIVE on the web, Antonio Rodriguez and PLANETCASTERS pioneered live web streaming with a better sonic quality than all other broadcasting software available at the time.
